Three Sisters Garden & Ancient American Seeds (R)

Three Sisters Garden & Ancient American Seeds (R) will be held Tue., June 2 @ 6:00 p.m. This program features a short presentation on the indigenous Three Sisters Garden method, as well as info about three of the oldest corn, bean, and squash seed varieties found in America. Participants will go home with a collection of the featured seeds to grow this summer! Seeds donated by Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds (rareseeds.com). Open to adults, and teens and children with an accompanying adult.

Galley Book Group - Mixed Titles!

Galley Book Group - Mixed Titles (R) will meet on Thu., July 15 at NOON. This discussion will be of an assortment of Galley books provided by the publishers, scheduled to be published between May and August 2026. Register for the discussion, Read a book from the box as soon as you are able, Return so others can read it and Repeat as desired until the discussion date. At the discussion, the group will briefly talk about each book read, rate the titles, and discuss whether it is book-discussion-worthy.

Friends of the Library Spring Tea & Silent Auction ($) will be held on Thu., Apr. 30 at 6:00 p.m. Guest speaker will be Cathryn Essinger, mother of fellow Bluffton author, Dave Essinger. Building Brain-Healthy Habits (R) Tues., Apr. 21 at 5:30 p.m. Join us at the Bluffton Public Library in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association Northwest Ohio Chapter as we learn about the research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use of hands-on tools to incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. Mobile Health Clinic - ONU Healthwise

Mobile Health Clinic: The next Mobile Health Clinic will be held on Thu., June 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All services are provided by individuals with the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program. This clinic includes free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol (please fast for 12 hours to participate in cholesterol or blood sugar screening), and flu vaccines.
