Ohio's Urban Legends & Mythical Creatures presented by Kevin Moore, Curator of Artifacts Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums (REGISTER IN ADVANCE - SPACE IS LIMITED!)

Does Bigfoot roam Salt Fork State Park? Is the Ohio River home to a flying black creature whose sightings serve as an omen of impending disaster? Did several Ohio police departments chase a UFO on an 85-mile pursuit into Pennsylvania?

Kevin Moore, Curator of Artifacts from the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums in Fremont, Ohio, will speak on Monday, June 6 at 6:00 p.m. about some of our state’s folklore related to monsters, ghosts, and other paranormal beings, the sociology behind belief in the supernatural, and how these urban legends have been adopted by popular culture.
