Watercolor Workshop - Ladybugs - registration opens June 21

Watercolor Workshop: Two sessions of Ladybugs (R)($) will be held onThu., July 18 from 2:00 - 3:45, and then at 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Local artist Jeanne Beutler will teach on the lower level of the library. Walk away with your own watercolor piece of art, complete with mat! There is a $10 supply fee at the door (cash only please), and advance registration is required as space is limited.

Open to adults and teens, and children with an accompanying adult.

Bob Antibus presents: Benefits of Growing and Eating Mushrooms (Please register by July 18)

Bob Antibus presents: Benefits of Growing and Eating Mushrooms will be held Thu., July 25 @ 6:00 p.m.

Learn about mushroom foraging, how to grow your own mushrooms, and perhaps hear a few mushroom foraging adventure stories! Mushroom growing kits will also be made available.

Please register by July 18.

Brandon Weis presents: A Calendar Year Triple Hike Experience will be held on Tue., July 16 @ 6:00 p.m.

Come listen to Brandon Weis speak at the library about his Calendar Year Triple Crown hike in 2021 on the Appalachian Trail Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and Arizona Trail. His year of hiking entailed carrying a backpack of 20-30 pounds for over 8,000 miles in the dead of winter at -20 degrees through the scorching summer of 111. Through frostbite, injury, sheer exhaustion, and more — he endured.

Words & Wine Book Discussion (R) will meet Wed., July 17 @ 6:30 p.m. at Kira’s Flipside Grill to discuss A Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon while enjoying a glass of wine.  

Please Register and pick up the book at the Library during the month of June. 

There is limited seating and the book discussion is open to Adults 21+. 

Family Storytime - No registration necessary June & July

Family Storytime (Birth-Pre-K): Begins Wed. June 5 - July 31 @ 10:00 a.m.

 No registration necessary this summer! 

All Storytimes will be about reading, singing, playing, and socializing with peers.  June topics include: Library adventures!  Choose your own adventure! and Mermaids, pirates, dragons, & gnomes! 

Please note there will be no storytime on June 19th and July 3rd.
