Mobile Health Clinic at the Library in October

Information about Mobile Health Clinic at the library

Mobile Health Clinic: Friday, October 29 from 9:00-11:00 a.m: All services are provided by individuals with the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program. This clinic includes free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, osteoporosis, and cholesterol (please fast for 12 hours to participate in cholesterol or blood sugar screening). Participants may speak with ONU Healthwise students and staff about their results or concerns, and even receive referrals to area doctors. Please notice: Covid-19 vaccinations are not available at these clinics.

Register by October 18 to attend the Nature Walk at Motter Metro Park on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of an early fall evening in the prairie as you are led by Naturalist Dan Hodges of Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District.

Meet at the park, and be sure to dress for the weather and ground conditions. This program is geared for adults, but children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Motter Metro Park is located at 10740 Columbus Grove-Bluffton Road in Richland Township.

Sticker by Letter Take & Make

The Sticker by Letter Take & Make featuring pages from "Brain Games: Sticker by Letter : In the Wild" by Publications International, Ltd. will be available from October 25th and while supplies last. Collect from the basket on the Youth Services desk.



Each kit consists of a special "sticker by letter" template page (selection will vary) and corresponding lettered stickers. It works just like paint by number paintings - only with stickers!

Wear your walking shoes and meet us at the Presbyterian Church gazebo to hear some more stories about the historic town of Bluffton, Ohio!

Fred Steiner will take us on a walking tour from 101 N. Main St. to 147 N. Main St. across Main St., then back across Main St. to return from the Town Hall and to the Presbyterian Church.

This program is open to all ages; those age 8 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Advance registration is required, as space is limited. Register by Wednesday, September 29.
