On Sat., Aug. 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., bring a lawn chair or blanket and play, sing, or simply listen to the music on the library "front porch".
In case of inclement weather, everyone will move indoors.
Stop by the library to pick up a free mini coloring book and coloring/activity book, courtesy of Dover Publications and the American Library Association! Take some time out of your busy schedule and rediscover coloring as a calming pastime.

Mobile Health Clinic: Fri., August 26 from 9:00-11:00 a.m - All services are provided by individuals with the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program. This clinic includes free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol (please fast for 12 hours to participate in cholesterol or blood sugar screening) and osteoporosis/ Participants may speak with ONU Healthwise students and staff about their results or concerns, and even receive referrals to area doctors.
Watercolor Workshop: Cow (R)($) will be held Thurs., August 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Local artist Jeanne Beutler will teach on the lower level of the library. Walk away with your own watercolor piece of art, complete with mat!
There is a $10 supply fee per person at the door (cash only please), and advance registration is required as space is limited.
Open to adults and teens/children (with a participating adult).
Fear No Art Class (R) ($) Janette Reineke will be teaching a lesson from her book, Fear No Art: You Can Do It! and participants will create their own art. The Tues., August 9 lesson is: Pointillism using the art style of George Seurat.
There is a $10 supply fee at the door, cash only.

There will be an Evening Hike at Motter Metro Park on Thursday, August 4 @ 7:00 p.m., led by Naturalist Dan Hodges of Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District.
Open to all ages. Dress for the weather.

Fear No Art Class On the 4th Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., Janette Reineke will be teaching a lesson from her book, Fear No Art: You Can Do It! and participants will create their own art. The Tues., July 26 lesson is: Wood Collage using the art style of Louise Nevelson.
There is a $10 supply fee at the door, cash only.

Cardio Drumming (R): Thursday, June 30 @ 6:00 p.m. - Register to join us at BFR for a session of cardio drumming!
Open to all ages (children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the program)
Bring your workout ball or a large play ball and let's have fun!

Pirate Training will be held on Friday, June 10 @ 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Multiple activities will be available on the main floor, geared to K-5 kids and their families. No registration necessary.
