Pirate Training will be held on Friday, July 1 and Friday, July 22 @ 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Multiple activities will be available on the main floor, geared to K-5 kids and their families. No registration necessary.

Mobile Health Clinic: Fri., July 29 from 9:00-11:00 a.m - All services are provided by individuals with the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program. This clinic includes free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol (please fast for 12 hours to participate in cholesterol or blood sugar screening) and osteoporosis/ Participants may speak with ONU Healthwise students and staff about their results or concerns, and even receive referrals to area doctors.

Our Water Cycle, presented by Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District (R):

Come to the library on Mon., July 11 at 2:00 to learn about the water cycle and how the ocean is connected to our water right here in Allen County!

This family-friendly program will include engaging activities and stories about the water cycle including oceans, clouds, rain, rivers and more!

Fear No Art Class (R) ($) On the 4th Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., Janette Reineke will be teaching a lesson from her book, Fear No Art: You Can Do It! and participants will create their own art. 

The June 28 lesson is: Clay Pinch Pot. There is a $10 supply fee at the door, cash only.

An optional follow-up class to Paint Your Pinch Pot will be held on June 29. $3 supply fee at the door, cash only.

The Underwater Life in Our Watershed (R) - On Tuesday, July 12 @ 6:00 p.m.

Did you know that the insects, mollusks and crustaceans—aquatic macroinvertebrates—that live in our streams and rivers are like the canaries that miners used to keep down in the coal mines? Their presence (or absence) can help us determine the health of our waterways.

Meet some of these 'water canaries' when you join representatives from The Quarry Farm at the Bluffton Public Library.
