Bob Antibus presents: Benefits of Growing and Eating Mushrooms will be held Thu., July 25 @ 6:00 p.m.

Learn about mushroom foraging, how to grow your own mushrooms, and perhaps hear a few mushroom foraging adventure stories! Mushroom growing kits will also be made available.

Please register by July 18.

Open to all ages; children to be accompanied by a responsible adult

Brandon Weis presents: A Calendar Year Triple Crown Hike Experience (Please register in advance; space is limited)

Brandon Weis presents: A Calendar Year Triple Hike Experience will be held on Tue., July 16 @ 6:00 p.m.

Come listen to Brandon Weis speak at the library about his Calendar Year Triple Crown hike in 2021 on the Appalachian Trail Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and Arizona Trail. His year of hiking entailed carrying a backpack of 20-30 pounds for over 8,000 miles in the dead of winter at -20 degrees through the scorching summer of 111. Through frostbite, injury, sheer exhaustion, and more — he endured.

Watercolor Workshop: Dolphin (Registration opens May 24)

Watercolor Workshop: Dolphin (R)($) will be held Thu., June 20 and Thu., June 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Local artist Jeanne Beutler will teach on the lower level of the library. Walk away with your own watercolor piece of art, complete with mat! There is a $10 supply fee at the door (cash only please), and advance registration is required as space is limited.

Open to adults and teens, and children with an accompanying adult.

Registration opens May 24.

Camp Games

Camp Games will be open Mon. June 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Come test out your camping skills! Play games to earn tickets towards fun prizes!

Open to families and kids of all ages.
